Michael Haines joins industry Board

At the Annual General Meeting of Strata Community Association (SA/NT) held last Friday, our Director, Michael Haines was elected on to the board of the industry association.

This term is for the next two years and it is a position that Michael previously held in 2013/14 while he also worked on the National Education Panel seeking greater education and training for Strata Managers.

In Michael's previous term he assisted the strata industry through creation of a standardized management agreement and Michael has also worked on developing the Certificate IV course for strata managers which both he and our Director Paul Stephenson completed in 2010.

Having been an active member of the association seeking the betterment of the strata industry for the benefit of our clients from 2002-2014, Michael resigned both his board position and membership to focus solely on the development and establishment of Strata Management SA.

Michael is a career Body Corporate Manager, having worked with two Adelaide based companies from 2002 to 2014 before founding Strata Management SA with Paul Stephenson where together as Directors they have grown the business from scratch to servicing over 400 Strata & Community corporations within South Australia.

With the experience of chairing over 3000 General Meetings for all types of Strata & Community Titled properties, Michael is a sought after consultant and problem solved in the industry.

With a team of now 9 staff at Strata Management SA, the time has arrived for Michael to further the aims of our clients through the development of the industry association where we are proud to have Michael as both a leader and representative of both our company and the industry as a whole.

Michael is a keen advocate for continuous improvement in client service and greater education within the strata sector while seeking legislative changes that benefit our Strata and Community clients to live within their homes.
